Excitement!!!!

The next instalment of the RustyKlicker birthday experience. A day out with what would usually be called 'Boys toys' but I know some of you girlies out there love them too. For those of you who are not into fast cars, apologies in advance and perhaps you can look by another day. lol.

To say that today was exciting would be an understatement. The weather has been brilliant, dry and sunny, which was perfect for having a go in no less than four 'supercars'. In turn, I drove the Ford Focus RS rally car, Aston Martin DB9, Porsche Turbo and Ferrari 430.

We had reasonably clear roads up through Glencoe and were allowed to have a blast to test them out. They are all fantastic in their own way but very different driving experiences and quite individual too. I was with a group of friends and we each had our favourites, for the record mine was the Porsche Turbo. It's hard to describe how good it is, you really have to feel it.

Anyway, I don't want to put everyone to sleep so I will sign off now and go get packed for the next adventure, which is an overnight stay and dinner at Champany restaurant near Linlithgow. For those of you who don't know it, the food is amazing and they serve the best steak in the country, bar none.
