WOODLAND PATH WITH WISTERIA

There are times when I wish we hadn't planted the wisteria so many terraces above the house. It's quite a puffer and panter to get up there. This is the light coloured wisteria. We have a pergola with the darker variety but it is not in flower yet. I'll have to climb up there again because it's prettier than this. You can see how it wraps itself around itself to create a sturdy trunk.

The clouds are stacked up over us like planes over Heathrow and they're just beginning to land on us by way of rain. That's all right. We need it, but grey skies do take the joy out of life. Will need to light the wood burning stove tonight.

For the record: + 12 C. Cloudy with rain. Humidity 67%.
