Cheery yellow

The drizzle continues. We had a few minutes of sun but it was gone in a flash. Dave has cabin fever so he has gone to pick up Anton and get some shelving to put up in the garage.

I have had an unsuccessful morning. we bought a lovely wooden cabinet off trademe (NZ's e-Bay) but because of the weather it still sits out in Rangiora waiting for us to get it. Then I patch-painted some bits in the hallway that had been scuffed when we moved in. Because I used a brush instead of a roller (says Dave) they now stick out like sore thumbs as shiny patches far worse than the scuff marks!! Grrrrr.

Anyway these flowers are lovely and I bought the rain indoors to make them even sparklier!

Just one sleep left till Kariba comes home!

PS for those of you wondering what liquefaction looks like, see the video clip on this page from last night's aftershock. This poor couple had obviously seen it all before. Remember this is coming up through the street and garden etc, it is NOT coming up a drain. There is also a clip further down from a wedding celebration when the quake happened.
