A knitting day!

Today I have mostly been knitting!!

Our central heating boiler went kaput last Friday so we're having a new one fitted today.

Having just got the house put straight following recent renovaton work we're now without a kitchen and no heating. The new boiler can not go where the old one used to be (new regulations!!) so half the kitchen cabinets are sitting in the hallway so that the water and oil pipes can be moved to the new position and a 6" hole is been bored through the three foot thick kitchen granite wall for the the new flue so there's a lot of noise and mess there too :o/

So I'm sitting, in the relative peace and quiet of the conservatory, watching the wildlife, knitting .... knowing that I'm going to be up half the night clearing up!!
