Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho!

First day in her new job today for our Hez, back to the grind a day earlier than the rest of us after our Easter break. Maybe a bit overdressed for washing dishes and wiping down tables but she went out looking a proper young lady for her first four hour stint at the coalface. Good on ya Princess, only another 50 years or so until you can think about retiring somewhere nice in the sunshine.

A trip to the garden centre meant there were a few chores to be done around the place but as it was so sunny and warm it felt less of a chore, and it was good to hear power tools being used in anger again. The smell of freshly flymoed grass, coffee and barbecue smoke wafting over the fences made it feel like a proper summer's day too. Trying to back up 40Gb's worth of files onto a disk that decided it wasn't wanting to play any more afterwards kind of killed off the relaxed Sunday in the sunshine vibe though.

Off now to pack the satchel for getting back to school tomorrow. Hi-Ho.

Ho-hum.

And no excuses from people trapped in airports 'cause of some volcanic ash like this time last year.
