Exhausted

Phoebe hasn't been too well recently, she seems to be picking up everything going at her nursery but thankfully when I arrived she was quite hyper and seemed happy to see me, although she did look shattered. Within minutes of leaving Coldstream she was fast asleep, and remained so for most of the journey, we were delayed by about 45-60 minutes though as a crash on the Coldstream - Newcastle road blocked the way, meaning a diversion was in place along a narrow country lane with a right turn on to the A1, being a right turn on to a busy road meant hardly any cars got out, it seemed to take an age!

Once we got to Sam's we waited 5 minutes before she arrived back and had lunch, then headed straight to Seaton Sluice where they have a fantastic play park. Phoebe ran riot as usual and even made a new friend, another little girl, slightly older than Phoebe, came over to her and asked;

"Would you like to be my friend?"

"Yes, ok" Phoebe replied, and the two promptly followed each other around for the rest of their time there.

We quickly popped on to the beach before heading back to the house via the pasta shop (Sainsburys), at this point Phoebe was getting a little restless and grizzly because she was so tired, as soon as we finished tea it was straight up stairs for a bath and bed, and a shattered Phoebe went out light a light.
