Thai Dessert

Yesterday was a western dessert (although Thai's love chocolate cake too!) Today, some students showed up with two traditional Thai desserts.

These are some common ingredients for Thai desserts:
Coconut milk (the white)
Tapioca balls (the green)
Corn (the big yellow dots)
Beans (the small yellow spots)
Rice (the black...this time sticky rice)
Sweet syrupy goo (the clear)

In other desserts you will find red beans, poached eggs, and sweet potatoes. Most ingredients are just mixed in different proportions, packaged in a clear plastic bag, tied with a rubber band and ready to be bought. At home they are poured into a bowl and enjoyed, just like this.
