Menu del dia with the lunch bunch today, a once a month event at a different restaurant/bar each time, and very good it was too!

Russian salad - which I forgot wouldn't be terribly cholesterol friendly and so passed it onto Steve

It was rather nice because the waitress began by talking to us in Spanish, and then went over to Catalan for the rest of the meal. I like to think it was because I said something to her in Catalan. Steve and I are the only members of our English group who know any Catalan, in spite of us all living in Catalunya... disgraceful!
