Might As Well

Jump.

Not a good day for travelling in the Central Belt today. Started with many trains being off due to a fire near a main rail junction at Bonnybridge, finished with this main artery between Clackmannanshire and Stirling being closed due to a gas leak just as everyone was heading home for the bank holiday weekend. Good time to be a pedestrian or cyclist and all a bit surreal to be able to walk down the white lines of the A907 at rush hour here when it's normally Wacky Races in both directions.

Definite Friday feeling to today now we're off work for Cadbury's weekend, planning nothing outwith the confines of the garden (good weather forecast: avoid normal tourist hot-spots and garden/DIY stores). A bit of light lawn-mowing and creosoting of bits-and-bobs and that'll be enough for me. Even heard the word barbecue being bandied about just now, but I'm not biting... someone else can jump in there, I'll just make sure the beer's chilled.

Hope it's a Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for you all.
