Sam and the pigeon

Good Friday today and my local cafe was open for early coffee so had a couple on the way home from the beach. Then I returned to the beach in time for the dogs birthday breakfast. It's big community arrangement to give dogs and people from Dog Beach a nice feed of hot dogs. Plenty of pics to Blip but plans for the best one had to change as when I got home my grandson came to visit and managed to rescue a small pigeon from one of my cats. So here's Sam and he's very proud of himself. The pigeon is in a box out of reach of the cats, kitted out (pardon the pun) with chicken food and water. He'll live.
