Tulip Trio

The obvious question is why black and white for these blooms, which do have a beautiful hint of pink. It's more about the bluebells and other coloured distractions in a rather busy scene.

The flower bed is situated next to a gap in the hedge which allows the sun to light them rather delightfully.

I'm in the garden today sussing out my new GF1, and trying to figure out its strengths and limitations. It may be that for flowers etc I'm better sticking to my SLR; I bought it really for travel and out and about portable-ness. It's quite fun already though...
