Vegetating

Around here, the early snow showers rapidly turned to sleet, then rain. With no real reason to be out and about, I spent most of the day in the house: on a day like today, warm and dry is good.

When the veggie box arrived earlier, the red cabbage (well, half a red cabbage) was showing off its convoluted swirly patterns. Like a cross between a brain and an art nouveau poster, somehow.

To be honest, I prefer the green variety. But they don't look anywhere near as spectacular.
