THE SPORTSMANS.

Nidderdale is quite simply one of the most beautiful of the Yorkshire Dales. Wath-in-Nidderdale Is a Conservation Village and one of the most picturesque and unspoilt of the dale's villages. The Sportsman's Arms Hotel and Restaurant nestles close by the River Nidd at Wath, has fishing rights to a stretch of the river, and is located on the Nidderdale Way.
Reached by a pack-horse bridge, the mellow sandstone 17th century building radiates warmth and hospitality. Log fires, cosy lounges, a warm and welcoming bar and a charming restaurant await the fortunate traveller and guest alike.
We,ve been using this place for Sunday Lunch over the past twenty years and never once have we had to complain about the food or the standard of service, if ever your in this area its a must for a visit. Been there for lunch today and then a walk in Wath Wood, lovely way to round off after a good meal.
