Growing at the edge of the sea.

Visited the Castle of Mey this morning on the Caithness coast.
The blasted rocks and beaches on the Pentland Firth still have flora growing on them.
These sea pinks are on the point of blooming. You can also see the colourful lichens on the rocks.
