All Together Now...

Another gig at the Musician in Leicester: Red Shoes, a songwriting duo who sing as well. Last week Robert Plant came to see them and they have a song on the new Fairport Convention Album. Here, ten people paid to see them. Such is the troubador's lot.
Red Shoes have been in the business for a long time but there were two young bands supporting them: Green Diesel & Cobbled Together. At least one of them had driven up from Kent - a long way to come and play for ten people. A good time was had by all though, and Red shoes got the others up on stage to do a couple of numbers together, which worked remarkably well. There are thirteen people on the stage, though the drummer is invisible.
