Evening

The work I'm forecasting for the next few days looks balanced. It should give us a bit of a head-start. Today wasn't unusual. Except perhaps the important notes I made on paper and decided to keep a scanned copy of. Or perhaps the person at a meeting with the furrowed brow and a shirt clinging tight on to a bulging stomach, with far too many hurried questions, creating gateways for mistakes. Working with different vendors can be refreshing, each have their own distinct style.

The evening at Bellevue was beautiful. Unable to stop, I watched helplessly as skies turned into a flaming red against orange cirrus cloud. Before it, partially silhouetted stood the Bellevue skyline. The skyscrapers, all modern with glass exteriors reflecting the sunset on one side were dotted with specks of yellow on the other. The road leading up to the city had a steep downhill slope. If one has to shoot modern urban landscape, light can't get any better. I had the wrong lens. The 35mm may make the camera small and easy to carry, it may provide the luxury of a wider aperture, but it's better suited to different surroundings.

A great dinner to end the day with.
