backblip.

atlanta trip, day 4.
the big day -- dixie classic festival!

the entire band woke and ate a hasty breakfast at around 6 and was out of the hotel by about 8. it was a quiet busride, seeing as how most of us were still sleepy-eyed and fell asleep for the majority of the time we sat in the bus, including myself hahahah.

none of us were exactly hesitant, it seemed. we let symphony hall work its magic. for such a simplistic stage, it presented amazing sound -- perfect for both us and the symphony orchestra (who won the exemplary award out of everyone else in the competition! representttt.).
proud of every band and orchestra that performed that day. they all sounded great.

dinner was something out of the ordinary, to say the least. we went to this place called the "medieval times" -- as jerryshi put it, "It was like the circus plus a sports event but way better haha." and it just about sums it up! there were knights, tests of strength, and jousting -- which was quite interesting to watch. their swordfights were pretty legit!

pretty rewarding day, topped off with an interesting dining experience and some good talk sessions with the roomies till about 2 in the morning.
six flags tomorrow! scared to bits.
