A Royal day

I felt I had to put something together to mark this morning's celebrations! What festivities on the pavements around Westminster and Buckingham Palace, I bet most people there will really be looking forward to a hot bath and a comfy bed tonight after getting up early in the dark or a cold couple of days camping out! It's just great seeing people enjoy themselves and looking happy.

Colourful times too for the Union Jack. This old worn silk hanky Union Jack from WWI was tucked away in a box together with a brass military button with a royal coat-of-arms. The copper charger behind was a wedding present from Turkey to N and I.
