Lonesome Pine

Last night, during the worst storm in twenty years the entire German rail network suffered an unprecedented shutdown when a 12-ton supporting girder at Berlin's brand-new station failed. The station links the east and west of the country, so the system could no longer run smoothly. Rescue centres around Europe worked non-stop handling thousands of calls, hundreds of thousands of homes were left without electricity, and the repair bill is likely to stretch into billions of euros.

I awoke this morning to find two of our fifty foot high + pine trees snapped in half like twigs.. Miraculously no damage was done to the house or the cars... BONUS..

However, I am expectig more freak weather in the near future.. including snowblizzards? Nice..
