View to a Hill

Ok, mountain. Ben Lomond in fact, 31 miles west of Euan here.

Beautifully clear day to take in the views today, perfect for filling the car with all the junk collected from the garden clear up over the past few days and heading on down to the rather ripe civic amenity site (skips) located next door to the equally fragrant sewage treatment works. Where there's a ying, there's a yang.

Stopped off for a wander and ended up above the 10th tee of Braehead Golf Club. Haven't swung a club in anger here for over a year but this reminded me of one of the plus points of playing a round on this course. It's a grand view to take in at the halfway point of a game and one I always found distracting. That's my excuse anyhow for never making par on the tenth.

Skies are still cloud free so I'm currently cultivating loads of ice to keep the cider and margheritas chilled for an evening's socialising over a few drinks.

Starting around about... now.

Cheers all!

Second shot in an intended series of four covering the Forth Valley (see what I did there?). First one taken last October looking North to South, this one is looking East to West.
