Climbing Party

Still not feeling 100% but the sun was shining and so we headed for the hills.

Headed up Dumyat mid-morning. The army marched quite well, even the wee fella. Last year when we climbed Dumyat he was on my back in the rucksack...this year he had the occasional piggy back but he walked a fair bit. The other three children walked well and with much less complaining than last year...the Rooster was the only one complaining today. However, after I explained to him that Es and the Buncle were trying to be first to the top he did less complaining and focused on winning...he doesn't like to loose that boy:-)

Had lunch on the summit and then headed back down the back of the hill...it was a good few hours walking.

Popped into the MacRobert centre for a wee coffee before heading home.
