Took a trip round the market today and wondered why I don't do that more often. It gets held twice a week for heaven's sake and I have somehow contrived to forget about it.

Asparagus is THE crop of the moment and I confess to never having seen the white stuff before. I suspect that I will try to blip it in the coming weeks. Not sure if I'm brave enough to try it though - not particularly keen on anything that makes your wee smell funny. I suspect that's just a vestigial memory from childhood holding me back there.

Sprachschule was OK. Although I could do with a little more pace in the learning. I was heartily sick of saying why I didn't like various bits of furniture. It's a whole conversation I hope never to have.

Today's song comes from the flim Khalnayak and features the very beautiful Madhuri Dixit. It also features Sanjay Dutt wearing the brilliant disguise of an eye-patch and a hat. I knew someone in Edinburgh who said I looked a bit like Sanju. I suspect what he meant was that we both look like we're related to bloodhounds. Bloodhounds who have had a particularly sad and trying lives.
