House Progress ...

Today, back from New York, we spent much of the day unpacking--no chance for a good blip. Around dinner time, I went out back of our new house, looking toward Union Street, and took this shot. All the equipment is gone, the ground has been graded and seeded.

In the middle is our former condominium building (originally units 1 and 2); toward us the garages and the floor above are unaltered, but in the front beyond, toward Union Street, the new construction replaces the majority of the building.

On the right are two storage containers (pods); the white one is ours (mostly empty), the red one is is our neighbors' (from whom we are renting and who are living temporarily in the carriage house with the peaked roof on the left--originally Unit 3 of the condominium which they also purchased).

A front view, from Union Street, a month ago is here; you can see that construction has progressed.

For the really curious (and perhaps the confused), the link above has links that provide more of the story. Here we are just after moving into our new house.
