Wildlife on high

This lunchtime a colleague and I clocked up a massive 125 wildlife points, mainly due to this guy - a kestrel (50 points for a bird of prey). We weren't sure what species he was until I took a picture and zoomed in. Thank goodness for a zoom lens. It's not the crispest of images, but I'm really pleased because he was just a dot seen with the naked eye. He's perching atop of the Victorian gas works (the round structure) seen in this blip.

Went to another Beeb recording, Clive Anderson's Chat Room, tonight. It was extremely funny. His guests were Gyles Brandreth, Charles Helen Lederer, Andy Parsons and Paul Sinha. Gyles Brandreth was particularly entertaining. You can hear the programme on Thursday at 2330, and it's repeated on Saturday at 1330.
