Cedar Key Canal House

This is the stairway up to the cottage we stayed in while visiting Cedar Key, FL. The cottage was on a canal and the house was raised up on stilts!

We went to Cedar Key for the small boat meet that happens every year on the first weekend in May. This year was our first year going and the 27th year in a row for this annual boat meet. Cedar Key is a small, more rural community that where we live now. Quite beautiful. You can see another photo of the stairway here, untweaked. The cottage itself was really interesting and the boat meet was just fabulous, I took at least 300 photos! I am glad to be back home though and I am slowly catching up.
