Well, I finally got a photograph of a kingfisher! I have to thank Anth (horns of wilmington's cow) who alerted us to the presence of this pair in a new territory along a different part of the Water of Leith; I had another day off and so I went on a bliphunt. More of himself (all black bill, the females have a red lower jaw) and some other birds here.

I am a very happy blipper tonight! Thanks Anth!
