Ummm... brisket

Made this the other day, and making it again... About 4 pounds of brisket in a slow cooker with ketchup, onions, garlic (of course!), Worcestshire sauce, and a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale. A rub for the brisket with chili powder, oregano, paprika, S&P. About 7 1/2 hours in the slow cooker, and voila!

(OK, I know it's not very Texan to cook a brisket using anything other than a grill or a smoker, but this works soooo well, I can't help myself. Between the bath it sits in and selecting a piece of brisket with some good fat content, the meat gets/stays so moist and tender...)
