a so so day for it...

Inspired by Here, there & Verrieres take on small town market day life in France I thought that you might like to see how it is done in England, in the village of Milnthorpe on Farmer's Market Day.

Jean has just pointed out to her friend, Mary that the tasty young French man is back selling his bread.

Bob is taking it easy behind his vegetable stall, ignoring the woman and her melons.

Simon is delighted that the plants his wife wanted are in stock, although agrees that is is 'best not to turn a clout until May is out'.

David and Sue are strolling hand in hand, pleased to be having a break in the Lake District but wishing it wasn't threatening rain.

I got some smoked New Zealand Green Lipped mussels and some bread from the dishy Frenchman!

See it large for all the detail!

Thank you for all your good wishes for my 365th blip yesterday! I appreciate it so much and your lovely comments - here is to another year!

Enjoy the weekend!
