in the name of homework - a marmoset no less...

Well I certainly tested my photography skills today by attempting to capture children and animals - sometimes together! Neither subject is easy although it would be fair to say my children do actually exhibit a little co-operation now and then in front of the camera.

We decided to head to a local wildlife park, as two of the children are doing rainforest as their topic at school and have projects involving animals. The park used to have a spectacular Leaf Cutting Ant colony which was our prime objective but would you believe it it was being renewed and we now know that immature Leaf Cutter Ants are a wee bit short of the wow factor!

Luckily these little marmosets provided us with enough visual information for the kids to get enthused about their project and me a chance to practise capturing a different sort of little thing!
