St Marys Lighthouse

Quite a busy day today. This evening I went over to our flat in Whitely Bay. The estate agent is doing a viewing tomorrow and there were a couple of things that needed tidying up. Whilst over there it seemed like a nice opportunity to get the camera out. This is St Mary's Lighthouse. I've blipped this before but I think its photogenic enough to deserve another outing. Its quite a cool place. The causeway to the left of the picture and all of the rocky area in the foreground are completely submerged when the tide is in so the rock that the lighthouse sits on is referred to as St Mary's Island enough though it looks far from island like in this picture.
