Backdoor roses

Well, we had an eggcup of rain today, better than nothing! It absolutely poured when I went shopping in town this afternoon but nothing here.

This is the sight that greets us when we open our backdoor. The roses are growing against the garage which seems to look a dazzling white in this photograph! The handle leaning against the greenery is the broom which is used for brushing leaves and debris away. Being on top of a hill we get a lot blowing round the outside of the house.

T and his three old college mates met up at Stoneleigh for the Grasslands event - all sorts of machinery and information to do with grass. They are spending the night in Cirencester on the way back so they can catch up on news over a meal and a drink(s!) before going their separate ways tomorrow morning.

I shall be busy over the next few days so apologies for not blipping or commenting very much.
