A view from Jeanneb

Another grand day out.

Late blip tonight as we have spent the day in the East Riding on the coast at Bempton Cliffs. This is an RSPB site and you can smell and hear the birds before you can see them.

We had a wonderful day and saw thousands of Gannets. There were kittiwakes, razorbills and some guillemots too but we only saw two puffins - I find this rather worrying.

The gannets were spectacular though but I couldn't compete with all those people with massive lenses. (Or Wendles56 wonderful image here) but I was pleased with this.
The birds were feeding and rubbing beaks as well as swooping too and from the cliffs.
A wonderful day with great weather - yes even on the east coast!!
