Logpile, Manar, Aberdeenshire

Logging has been going on in this wood (beside the road that eventually leads into Inverurie past the Art Deco Hospital) for several months now. I guess it's taking some time because the conifers are being carefully extracted from what was once, I imagine, a traditional beechwood, so as to leave the remaining beeches and other broadleaves untouched.
