Peony

Unbelievable, the difference in weather between today and yesterday. Yesterday we had sun, a bright sky and lovely temperatures and today there was rain in the early morning and it's cold and windy now.

But in spite of this all, the buds of the peony burst open and the beautiful pink petals unfold themselves. They are a sight for sore eyes so I show you, with a little pride, a just opened peony, immediately besieged bij the wind ... :(

Hope they'll last for at least some days ... ;)
