Macro photography in Biesbosch

What a lovely day this was! Sunshine, no wind and enthousiastic photographers trying to capture something of the macro world in nature's beauty.

The only problem during this day was to protect the skin against mosqitoes, ticks and other biting insects. Although I applied carefully anti-insect (with deet) on the exposed skin I had a severe bite in the upperlip while I was busy to capture the displayed small beetle (wasn't able yet to determinate the correct name).

Of course we captured lots of dragon flies and damselflies. But I thought to choose another kind of insect for this blip I haven't seen while exploring so many a blipjournal ... ;)
