Plus ça change...

Shunned by the sun

Early doors today, taking my cousin to her bus to Toulouse, heading off for a month walking over the Pyrenees on the Camino de Santiago. Crazy, but crazy in the way I admire. Ah for a spare month and I'd have been right there with her. That, of course, would kind of defeat the object of having a spell of time away from everything, for reflection and all that stuff.

Once home, we all headed back to bed (the kids were still in their pyjamas, and Conor stayed that way all day). I slept until nearly noon - what joy after a week of sleeping so badly. Then just sort of pottered all day. Read the papers (on-line), washed the cars, watered the garden. Mr B is on his way - heading for the ferry as we speak. It's been a long, long two weeks without him.

This morning there were four of these rather beautiful moths on the terrace, and they stayed there all day, posing rather obligingly. Two moths in a row: can I call it a series yet?
