Waiting

Usual Thursday night out, meeting my sister for food, drinks and a catch up. I took this to show how empty the road was and how my bus wasn't coming. But in actual fact it shows exactly what I love about Edinburgh

This shot was taken less than 10 minutes away from a major business park, it's 2 minutes away from the biggest Tesco Extra in the city. It's about a 15 minute drive to the city centre and it's within spitting distance of a McDonald's, a Subway and a Pizzahut.

Yet, it could be taken (light pollution aside) in any small village in the UK.

That's why I love Edinburgh - it's not all bright lights and big city all the time (okay, it's bright lights a lot of the time, but you know what I mean!)
