Temptations

Thanks to all who voiced concern about Jess after yesterday's events. She is well, still with bite-marks in her ear, but no fresh bleeding. Fiona Vet will probably not have anything to do tomorrow.

Holly's story is different. She has already picked out the stitches twice, and it has required a general anaesthetic to put them back - the vet does not want to give another general. I hope all goes well.

This week's challenge is Temptation. Whenever Mrs jml heard this, she proposed what you see above, and predicted that both Jess & Molly would get top marks.

Biscuit on paw: will they obey the WAIT! command?

Jess was absolutely first class. She did exactly that, and took the treat only when I gave the OK.

Molly, too, was very good. I did succeed with the same set-up, but she was very restless until I let her have the biscuit. So I did the experiment again in the back of the car, with the treat laid on the shelf in front of her nose. This is the shot I used. She has come to expect a reward whenever she jumps into the car, so she was a little less than gruntled to be told she could not have it straightaway. But she obeyed - well done!
