It's a Gannet!

Needed a good long blip hunt on Dunnet beach after work today to restore equilibrium! There were much bigger waves crashing on the shore than yesterday. The effects of the storm at sea must have been reaching shore. There were gannets diving just behind the break line but the waves were so big that each time they dived they disappeared behind the waves. These birds always remind me of my time in the Western Isles when I loved to watch them fold up their wings and dive to catch food.

The light was poor and zoom was needed so quality is dodgy! I think that's all my excuses for today!
