Kiftsgate
Kiftsgate is an amazingly vigorous rose that can apparently send out shoots thirty metres long
This one hasn't done that but it's still pretty rampant.
It's reached ten or fifteen metres and shows no sign of stopping
There are literally hundreds of tiny flowers - just about to come out and starting to come out now.
I took these yesterday just before I went out for a very hectic non-stop day, not getting back until midnight, so posting this late
This is also part of an investigation into old fashioned glass lenses on my DSLR: for a few quid I bought some lovely lenses which would have been thousands if they were the modern equivalent.
They're hard to use though because you have to manually focus them - back in the day you had widgets to help this like sections of the image that aligned themselves when you were in focus.
Now all you've got is my dodgy eyes.
Funnily enough I get better results looking over my glasses ............ why's that?
I think practice helps too - the first shots I took were completely blurry, nowadays they're not exactly spot on but they're much better
