boring and uninspiring

could easily be the title of today's course.

It really was the worst course I've ever been on. Now I know how the kids feel when the day just doesn't seem to end.

He droned on and on and on....

and we just mucked about, made each other laugh, threw bits of paper at another table of 'bored to tears' people and did just about everything we could think of to stop ourselves walking out.

I don't know why we didn't.
