Long tailed Tit

Today the garden was invaded by a brood of Long tailed tits. There seemed to be at least a dozen but none seemed to stay still for a second. At one point they were busy in the foliage which covers about half the house. You can't see them but they are in there somewhere. I notice that the endges of the elaves are already getting theeir characteristic red tinge - perhaps due to the fact that it hasn't rained here for more than six weeks.
