Johnny Rotten

Jubilee fever seems to have taken hold in Newick with the opening of the Jubilee Scarecrow trail. I'm not sure of the connection between the Jubilee and most of the scarecrows but this one of Johnny Rotten with its reference to the controversy around the Sex Pistols and the Silver Jubilee in 1977 is a brilliant exception. There are around 60 scarecrows on show including Bill & Ben, Gene Kelly singing in the rain, Noddy with his little car, Bob the builder, Dr Who and the Cybermen etc etc - expect more blips!
