The skies were perfectly clear at that time of the morning when I went out to water my new yard plants and take a walk.

It's now 6:30 am and the skies are overcast. That won't last long. The sun will break out and it will be over 100F today for the first time this year.

I have to be out this afternoon in the peak of the heat. A doctors appointment in the next town over at one o'clock and one in the city at three o'clock. I'll be bringing two bottles of water with me. I may have to stop on the way home from Tucson for another.

One day I'll tell you about why you don't sweat here, even when it's 102F.
