Fig Tree

About 6 years ago we planted a fig tree in a big pot and put it in a sheltered shady area as it said in a book. Then we sort of forgot about it, it hasn't grown much, never gives us any figs but it has sprouted a lovely crop of fox gloves this ear.

Unfortunately we don't do flowers and only really grow things you can eat. The only thing you can get from a fox glove that I am aware of is Digitalis and its not that useful in cooking unless you are a Victorian murderer in an Agatha Christie book.
