The Reunion

Just 6 of us today.

Each year a group of us go to Weston-Super-Mare. We've been friends now for over 40 years, starting at Secondary School, (Ealing Grammar) in 1968. In fact one of the group and I have known each other 50 years this year. How old does that make me feel!

But I consider myself to be very lucky that we all stay in contact. At one point 33 of us spread around the world, e-mailing and occcasionally meeting up in varying groups.

Despite what they say, school days weren't the happiest of my life, but they were days that forged friendships that would last me a lifetime, and for that, I feel very privileged.
