Road Signs

Today was a day of shopping - something my Mum and Aunt always look forward to but not in our small town of Whakatane, no we headed towards Tauranga way.

We travelled along the coast in the opposite direction to yesterday, took in the views of the Pacific Ocean and past through a small town called Te Puke - the Kiwifruit captial of NZ.

Upon entering the town and leaving we discovered these delightful road signs. There are twelve of them and to see all twelve look here. They're quite cute, novel and certainly get the message across. I think they appeal to all ages. I particularly liked the background of this shot.

We had a great time but only have three more days left before heading home, the time is flying by quickly.
