Daddy & Aidan

Mr Mono was off work again today. This morning we took Aidan in to nursery as they were having a 'class photo' and we didn't want Aidan to miss out. It's unlikely that Aidan will go to school with any of these kids so it should be something nice to look back on. It's sad to think he won't remember them.

In the afternoon I had managed to secure a place in the toddlers group at the local community centre. Apparently there is a waiting list and they have only just opened up the afternoon session. The timing is terrible for us, 12noon - 2pm, as this is Aidan's nap time. I'm going to give it a go for a few weeks but if it doesn't suit us I'll just need to find something else to do.

Aidan did have a good time at toddlers and ran around playing with all the toys. I think he managed quite well but was overtired at night. He wasn't too keen on other mummies or babies speaking to Logan though. He was very protective of his little bro. At one point he was playing with a rolling pin at the play dough table. He saw a little girl leaning into the pram and he ran towards her holding the rolling pin above his head. I was really worried he was going to beat her but thankfully he just stood next to her and shouted a lot of non-understandable words.
