minimal containment

He's never been especially chubby (wrists notwithstanding) but Edgar's abdomen has been rather large since it was first lactically inflated, postpartum. There's not much fat around it, just lots of inner workings, especially compared to some of his peers. At about five months when he was able to writhe about but not yet sit up he started to develop what looked suspiciously like a hernia, presumably caused by lots of abdominal strain forcing some of his plentiful gut-pipes out through the unsealed gap above his bellybutton. As suspected, when he started walking and doing what sports people would probably describe as strengthening his core muscles it started to retreat, possibly aided by his playing with it and pushing it in whenever he has the opportunity when undressed, when not using both hands to try and escape.
