Shield Bug??

I originally thought this was a Shield Bug, but on closer inspection I do not think it is. This bug was seen on the fennel stalks in almost the same position as the ladybird I included earlier.

It is not a particularly nice day here and it now looks as though it will rain; the garden needs the rain and I am working indoors, so I suppose that makes it okay!

Information added on Friday 10 June 2011 - It seems that this is more likely to be a squash bug Coreus marginatus.
